Where: Paul Martin’s American Bistro
What: A fresh-tasting and intensely satisfying tomato bisque that was featured a few weeks ago on the ever-changing seasonal menu at the Roseville locavore restaurant.
Why: There’s just something about a steaming bowl of creamy tomato soup on a cold winter evening that makes this girl happy. Just don’t slurp too loudly – people will stare.
Cost: About $7

Hi Tammy – So sorry, we don’t have the soup recipe! I just had the soup at the restaurant, but didn’t try to recreate it at home. If you come across a good recipe, let us know!

Hey — I went to high school in elk grove and I’m coming home to visit in a bit, and I heard that was a newish restaurant in Sac that had a lot of vegan options — you guys should find out about it and review it! 🙂
The tomato bisque looks amazing.
