Okay, we know it’s only Tuesday but, hey – it’s never too early to start thinking towards the weekend! While making your plans for this upcoming weekend, why not throw in a good cause while you’re at it? The 3rd annual Race for the Ring, benefitting our friends at the Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services, is coming to Sacramento on Saturday, May 21. The event takes place from 10am-2pm, with a kick-off and an after party at Raley Field.
The race is a text-message-based scavenger hunt on bicycles (or any non-motorized form of transportation) where participants solve clues in hopes of winning amazing prizes such as bicycles and diamond jewelry.
The entire $40 registration fee benefits important programs at the Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services and includes t-shirts, entrance into the after party, lunch, a goody bag, a chance at winning amazing prizes as well as a guaranteed day of fun competing with other participants searching the town for clues.
So, grab a friend, a bike and a mobile phone for your chance to win amazing prizes from Rogers Jewelry, Co. – all for a great cause. And remember, you don’t need to be a stellar athlete to win since your ability to solve clues is more important that your speed!
