Wordless Wednesday: Capitol Mall Farmers’ Market

On May 5th the Capitol Mall California-Grown Certified Farmers’ Market returned for summer.

The SacFoodies have been enjoying the market, which runs from May-September every Thursday from 10:00am – 1:30pm between 5th and 6th Street.

Capitol Mall was overflowing with local produce.

Lunch vendors include House, Ambrosia Cafe, 4th Street Grille, Yolanda’s Tamales, Golden Rice Bowl, Big Joe’s BBQ and Grateful Bread.

The market offers fruits, vegetables, baked goods, flowers, herbs, and cheeses.

Ooh! Thank you for reminder. I love having so many farmers’ markets nearby.
