Love animals? Love a party? Then make sure to stop by the 10th Annual Sacramento Zoological Society King of Feasts Food and Wine Luau on Saturday, June 25. The luau-themed party, which begins at 6:00 pm, will have fabulous food and drink, a silentauction, live music, a hula hoop contest and, of course, lots of adorable animals!
As you walk through the Sacramento Zoo, sample a wide selection of mouthwatering cuisine from area restaurants, such as 4th Street Grille, Cupcake Craving, Grateful Bread, Kru Restaurant, Mulvaney’s B&L and Pyramid Alehouse.
Many area wineries and breweries, including Boeger Winery, Heringer Estates Winery, Hoppy Brewing Company, River City Brewing Company, and Twisted Rivers Wines will be providing beverages.
Eat and drink your way through the Sacramento Zoo all while enjoying the sounds of Hawaii provided by Na Aikane Ukulele Club. Then, watch the dancers of Hula Event and Kaulumele Polynesian Dance Group as they spread the aloha spirit throughout the Zoo. Or, head over to the silent auction to bid on some fabulous items. And donโt forget to test your hula hoop skills in the much-anticipated Adult Hula Hoop Contest!

I’m excited to try all of the food vendors! With two kids and only 1 of us working, we hardly ever get to go out to an “Adult” restaraunt just the two of us. I really want to try 4th St. Grille though since a lot of my co-workers keep Raving about it!

This event sounds like a lot of fun, I would say I am most excited for Mulvaney’s B&L, it seems I am always hearing and reading about it and always mean to go, but I have not yet made it over there. I know if I get to try something it will propel me to finally go for dinner.

This sounds like a great way to spend an evening. We’ve been to Hawaii, but only once, so this will seem like a quick mini-vacation back to the islands. When I worked downtown, we often had office outings to the 4th Street Grille, so I would love to revisit some of those wonderful meals.

My kids are causing me to meltdown along with the temperature. I’d love to over indulge at Cupcake Craving and Twisted Rivers wines. ๐

I would be most excited to try Hoppy Brewing Company. I’m not a beer drinker, so I’ve stayed away from them. However, recently, a friend suggested I may LOVE some of the ciders they offer. Cider has become my new friend. I’ve been trying them all over town. Would love to see what they have to offer.
