Looking for a fun way to get outside and enjoy your Saturday? Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services, Rogers Jewelry Co. and Bank of America have teamed up yet again to host the 4th Annual Race for the Ring. The event is July 14, 2012 and kicks off at 10 a.m. at Raley Field.
Grab someone fun, a quick and effective mode of non-motorized transportation, and a cell phone and explore downtown Sacramento while receiving clues sent via text message to solve riddles and interactive challenges. Prizes awarded to the top 10 finishers include jewelry from Rogers Jewelry Co. and gifts from Sacramento-area vendors.
If you can’t make it out for the event but still want to participate, you can sign up to be a virtual racer. You still receive a shirt and can join the after party.
The cost is $50 per team of two and includes two race shirts, entrance to the after party where lunch and live music will be provided, a gift bag, and a chance to win more than $10,000 in prizes. All proceeds benefit Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services.
