If you’re anything like me, “Wine, cheese and bread” is your answer to the age-old question “What three things would you take to a deserted island?” So when I heard about the Old Sugar Mill’s upcoming Wine, Cheese & Bread Faire, I knew we would be a match made in heaven!
Think about it: nine wineries, live music, local chef demos, cheese-making classes, specialty chocolate and picnicking – what better way to spend a Saturday? If you’ve never been to the Old Sugar Mill, it’s right in our backyard in Clarksburg, just a 20-minute drive from downtown Sacramento.
The event takes place Saturday and Sunday, July 21 and 22, from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. both days. Tickets are for sale online here for $25, which includes a commemorative wine glass, a thermo tote bag for cheese and two complimentary wine tastes.
But, thanks to the nice people at the Old Sugar Mill, we also have a pair of tickets to give away right here on SacFoodies! Want to win? Simply leave us a comment, here or on our Facebook page, and tell us what three items would YOU take to a deserted island? We will select a winner on Friday, July 13th.
