About FH
Okay, now you didn’t think you were going to get through our blog without a little bit about our business – did you? C’mon, we’re PR professionals, after all!
We pride ourselves in Sacramento as a Fleishman-Hillard (FH) office that offers “a boutique feel with access to deep national and global resources.” We have 25 people on our Sacramento staff, and we specialize in food-related communications for a wide range of local, regional and national clients. Our shop is all about rolling-up-your sleeves and diving in with a lot of heart and soul…and of course, a passion for food! We hope you will soon learn this for yourselves – just as our many clients have discovered over the years. In the meantime, for those interested in the full FH story, please read on…
FH is one of the largest and fastest-growing public relations firms in the world. We are a global network of top professionals united in a single purpose: to make ourselves as valuable to our clients as they are to us. Headquartered in St. Louis, Mo., FH was founded in 1946 and today operates 83 offices in 22 countries, giving clients access to industry experts from around the world. Rated No. 1 in quality service among leading agencies for 12 consecutive years in the Harris/Impulse Survey, FH is known for having one of the best client retention rates in the business and for representing leaders in virtually every industry.
FH uses communications to deliver a meaningful, positive, and measurable impact on the performance of our clients, not only for blue chip corporate brands, but also for high-quality start-ups, associations, nonprofit organizations, and local businesses — regardless of their size or budget.
FH understands the entire food chain — from the farm to the fork. Our food and agribusiness practice leads the industry with more than 100 specialists serving 150 clients who represent virtually every link in the food chain. FH provides a firm understanding of how each segment of the food industry is interrelated, helping food producers, processors, marketers, distributors, retailers, foodservice, agribusinesses, technology companies, and commodity groups, with the critical and unique elements of business success in this industry.
Based on a “think global, eat local” philosophy, FH combines in-depth knowledge of industry issues – including obesity/nutrition, food safety/security, workforce issues, tighter marketing funds, environmental concerns and freedom to operate pressures – with an understanding of local cultures, audiences, and needs. FH provides clients with a multi-faceted team customized for their individual needs. The team may include former journalists, brand marketers, culinary specialists, public affairs experts, “farm kids,” scientists, registered dietitians, product recall experts, public health specialists, investor relations and corporate communications specialists, and former staff members to federal agencies ranging from the FDA to the USDA.

Hello my name is Tim. Me & a group of friends have been hosting a monthly dinner party we call “Dinner round the world”. Every month our dinner party is centered around the cuisine, music, & culture of a different country. We choose the country based on the alphabet. Our 1st party was A (Africa), the 2nd B (Brazil), the 3rd C (Cuba), etc…… However we were wondering if there was any test kitchen facilities here in Sacramento, where live cooking demonstraitions could be held in front of an audience. If such a facility exists please call or email. Thank you
Tim

Hi Tim,
Thanks for reaching out to us. Your “Dinner Round the World” sounds fabulous! You may want to try East Bay Restaurant Supply (www.eastbayrestaurantsupply.com). They say their Culinary Center can be rented for team building workshops, corporate meetings, winery events, catered events and private cooking parties, so that may be perfect for you!
Cheers,
Kim
