Looking to tap your inner foodie while also supporting a great local cause?  Join FOODTALK@CAFE BERNARDO, Saturday mornings from 10 – 1 pm June 4 – June 25, 2011.  The informative series will include hands-on workshops, such as  Blind Tasting – a journey through Café Bernardo’s iconic menu blindfolded; a chance to create a personal food essay or cookbook, and a Cookbook Swap and Sale. All June events will be held at Cafe Bernardo on 28th street and Capitol Avenue.

Tickets are $15 each or $50 for the series (four workshops). Proceeds benefit Friends Around the Table, a community cookbook produced by the Friends of the Ella K. McClatchy Library, MatrixArts Kids in the Kitchen and FoodTalk@the Library.
