SacFoodies concocted a spooky Halloween feast last week. Check out the highlights from the ghoulish grub…if you dare!
Olive Artichoke Party Dip:
This recipe for Olive Artichoke Party Dip featuring California Ripe Olives (client) was a breeze to make! With only five ingredients and no need to turn on the oven or stove, this was right up our alley. Of course, for the sake of the Halloween spirit, black olive spiders were added on top. Insider tip: use the jumbo sized California Ripe Olives for the body of the spider and sliced olives for the legs
Pumpkin Cheese Ball:
This festive Pumpkin Cheese Ball, courtesy of The Food Network, was as addictive as it was packed with delicious cheesy-flavor. This pumpkin surrounded by black tortilla chips was a hit at the potluck. It took less than 30 minutes to make, and even less time to gobble down.
Sinfully Stuffed Potato Skins:
Nothing is better than comforting potatoes on a chilly afternoon. This recipe for Sinfully Stuffed Potato Skins, courtesy of Every Day with Rachael Ray, was the perfect side for our Halloween feast. It was filling, delicious and festive!
“Whoopsie” Pies:
This classic “Whoopsie” Pies recipe, adapted from Delish, was so delicious and fluffy it was hard to stop after one serving. We added food coloring to these devil’s food cookies surrounding marshmallow crème filling to give these pies a festive look.
