I love Cost Plus, too! I just picked up a set of cloth napkins at Cost Plus – 6 for $10! And they come in a dozen shades. 🙂

Terre Rouge winery in Amador (beautiful setting, great rose and the french version of bocce) or Boeger in Apple Hill. Really, any winery is great, these are just two of my favorites. 🙂

We love to picnic at Fremont Park – there’s ample seating for all of us to meet after our Sunday bike rides and there’s also lots of shade, which makes a big difference on our hot Sacramento Summer Days!

Dolores Park in SF is a great place to picnic on a sunny day. The people watching is very entertaining, wine & beer is allowed, and dogs run around free. cheers

I love going up to El Dorado wineries and picnicing specifically at Boeger Winery. They have a great set up, wonderful wine, and they also sell delicious Olive Oils and cheses.
If I’m BBQ’n with the picnic then Elk Grove Park is a must for our family!

Capitol Park is my fav. place for a picnic… great scenery!
Michelle Johnston says
Definitely our backyard – we have a great BBQ and could definitely use the Cost Plus gift card for some accessorizing.

My favorite place to picnic is along the American river just below the fish hatchery. My husband proposed to me there exactly 2 years ago on a picnic!

My favorite place is my tiny postage-stamp urban backyard in East Sac. There is just enough grass for a few chairs and a table, but there is a decent-sized garden. In the summer, I pull cherry tomatoes right off the plants to become part of the meal…
